Explanation of the Photographic/Videographic Evidence

When there is more than one photograph, the explanation below applies to the first photograph only. Subsequent small thumbnail photographs are for clarification of the registration mark or driver identity only and the information contained in the data panel on these photographs is not used for any evidential purpose.

The first line of the data panel shown in the main picture (first photograph) shows the recorded speed of the vehicle 51mph.
The second line of the data panel shows the time of the offence 1141 (the seconds are not printed on the notice of intended prosecution letter).
The last six digits of the second line show the date of the offence 050806.

The twelve digit number on the bottom row of the data panel comprises a six digit film reference number followed by a three digit site code and three digits giving the camera activation number.
